San Martin Micro-lot is sourced from a family owned farm in San Martin De Leon Cortes near Tarrazu, Costa Rica. The Robles family started planting coffee 25 years ago on a 9 acre plot of land that was thought to be too high in elevation to grow coffee. They now run a flourishing coffee farm. The coffee is fully washed and dried on raised beds.
A Micro-lot coffee, to a small selection of coffee plants that may have produced particularly high quality beans during the season, or a farmer may have used specialty methods on a small plot of their land.
